Craftsmanship

In The Details

We make clothes that last, pieces that wear well this season and many years after that. Our collections are produced in small batches to avoid overproduction and excessive waste. While they take longer to make, we take pride that they will be cherished for a long time.

Seam finishes

Those who can spot quality will be delighted to see that good seams are the standard in our clothings. Raw edges are always encased with folds such as french seam, or covered in binding. Yes, they do require more fabrics, double or more stitching and time, but the end result is clean look and soft feel.

Lenna NYC | resort wear - The making of a blouse

The making of a blouse

  1. The cutter carefully marks the fabric with proper seams allowance. Precision is a must here to make sure every element meets nicely.

  2. Freshly-cut fabrics are handed to the seamstress. This is where front and back pieces are stitched together turning it into a piece of clothing.

  3. The clothing is then turned inside out. The extra fabric on seam allowance are folded in to hide the raw edges, and then stitched again.

  4. The cuffs are decorated in 10 rows of parallel stitching. It takes a pair of skilled stable hands to make these beautifully even lines.
